Warning signs
Get to know the warning
signs of an asthma attack. Ask yourself these questions:
- Are you coughing?
- Do you have shortness
of breath?
- Is there a tightness
in your chest?
- Are you wheezing
or breathing faster than usual?
- Is your throat
itchy or sore?
- Are your daily
peak flow readings going down?
Note any other signs
you suspect.
Your goal should be
to prevent these symptoms, but when they occur, you and your doctor or
other health care professional should have a plan in place to handle them.
Get results you can feel!
Your
doctor or other health care professional has probably already prescribed
a treatment programme for you that may include medication. And, if so,
take your medications exactly as instructed. When you guess about your
treatment, you give up control.

your condition daily!
