Spring is always a good time to tackle these winter cobwebs, as the light increases, so our energy levels creep up with it.
A gentle one-week spring clean
Our aim is to balance the blood sugar and energy. On waking drink a large mug of ginger and lemon. Pour boiling water over a few slices of fresh ginger and lemon and leave to brew.
It is always good to start the day with a teaspoon of soaked (overnight) fenugreek, which you mix with a grated apple and a little goat or sheep yoghurt. Fitness and Exercise -
You should gradually increase your activity. Starting with the basic Bodydoctor training programme will help increase your energy levels and encourage fat loss.
Mid morning & mid afternoon
Take 2 or 3 Spirulina complex capsules. At the same time, have ½ tbsp. of Argan or Hemp Oil mixed with pear or cranberry juice (this amount does Morning & afternoon.
Lunch
Green salad (raw asparagus, celery, watercress and any other green herbs or vegetables you like). Remember the colour is green. You have this with olive oil.
Supper
Chicken broth with chicken pieces with herbs and vegetables or Vegetable soup with herbs and rice pasta.
Before bed
1 or 2 floppy prunes, figs or ½ avocado.
We need this, as the blood sugar tends to drop as you change your patterns. You need to drink 3 litres of water per day (including ginger & lemon, green teas, lemongrass tea, chamomile tea, fenugreek tea).
