Fitness Training and Diet to Fight Acne

This client was a 30yr old woman presenting with acne and ugly red blotches which appear at the first sign of an stress or worry.

All her life she has suffered sugar cravings, has been constipated, long term use of anti biotics, weight problems, headaches, very bad p.m.t and low self esteem. She is having problems with her long term boyfriend as he feels he has lost the joyful girl he fell in love with.

Starting point.

I find when someone has had a long term problem with their skin and is also carrying extra weight, i have to go very carefully while cleaning the colon because if i don't we can bring skin erruptions and headaches.

These are the products we started with.

Mild digestive enzymes. I use digest max.
Why should we use enzymes?
Enzymes break down and digest food so the body can use it. Fresh, raw foods contain plenty of raw enzymes but with today's diet of cooked and processed foods, many of the natural enzymes are cooked out which often leads to bad digestion and poor absorption of nutrients. In addition to depriving the body of important nutrients, incomplete digestion can lead to intestinal toxemia (a toxic condition of the bowel), as undigested foods can putrefy and ferment in the digestive tract. Also, studies have shown that as we get older our bodies produce fewer enzymes.

CACTUS EXTRACT. I use this to balance the blood sugar and to help our girl to stop binge eating, it sends the body a simple message - STOP.

BROAD SPECTRUM ACIDOPHILUS. This increases weekly so that she can slowly and gently change the fermentation in her gut without making her skin flare up.

MID AM AND MID PM. I ask her to mix Argan oil (my favourite oil) with a Spirulina complex and some stewed apple or pear or pear or apple juice, this will help to balance the blood sugar.

FIBRE MAX. This will be taken at night to deliver fibre.
Why this fibre?
Fibre is the indigestible parts of fruits, seeds, vegetables, whole grains and other edible plants. Fibre is generally classified as soluble or unsoluble. Soluble is that which easily dissolves in water such as fruit pectin. These fibres lead to the production of short chain fatty acids, which support the nourishment of the cells of the large intestine and promote digestive healing. They also help to reduce the level pf cholestrol and can inhibit thre growth of yeasts and disease causing bacteria.
Insoluable fibre is not easily dissolved in water. Wheat bran is an insoluable fibre. Insoluable fibres help inactivate many intestinal toxins and may help to inhibit the ability of papasites to attach to the walls of the intestine. They also contain roughage which helps tone the bowel. They are both important and are contained in about equal parts in FIBRE MAX.

Also for her constipation she will add CLEANSE SMART which contains herbs and minerals traditionally used to support normal cleansing functions of the colon and does not cause irritation.

1ST STAGE FOOD (FOR 4 WEEKS)
I explained to her that this was going to be very limited and boring, but 4 weeks is not the end of the world and a very small price to pay for improved digestion. BREAKFAST.
Oatbran porridge made with water and served with stewed apple.

MID AM AND MID PM.
Argan oil mix as before

LUNCH.
Grilled fish or chicken with spinach salad.

SUPPER.
Chicken breast or salmon steak with stir fried vegetables and greens. (all green beans, courgettes, broccoli, celery, fennel, asparagus tips, raw spinach, endive and rocket, lots of green herbs)

If a little pudding is needed some stewed apricots and ginger are good.

She must have 2-2 ½ litres of water per day (which can include cranberry , apple or pear juice, vegetable stocks, green teas and ginger and lemon drink)

NO WHEAT, CHOCOLATE, CHEESE,DAIRY OR SUGAR.

Alittle honey may be used to sweeten.

All grains must be full grained, likewise pasta must be wheat free. These should be rinsed several time and served with green herbs and vegetables.

Next stage we will see her progress and start a fitness programme to fight her acne As well as the above I am also suggesting she starts a fitness training programme with fitness training expert and personal trainer David Marshall.
