Claire Jamieson has practised yoga and meditation since childhood, with a background in dance and theatre she went on to train as a massage therapist, bodywork practitioner, movement therapist and yoga teacher.
Teaching yoga for the past 13 years, she offers bespoke sessions designed specifically for the individual and their needs, after many years of experience and extensive training Claire has developed her own unique teaching style, working intuitively with each person to create specific combinations that address a vast range of problems and difficulties. Sessions are for all levels from complete beginners to those who are advanced, she also works with children, the elderly and with those who have disabilities, teaching many different forms of yoga from Hatha and Power yoga to more specialised styles like Kundalini and Restorative yoga. Because of it's amazing benefits, Claire passionately believes in the importance of making yoga and meditation accessible to all and facilitates the opportunity for each individual to immediately improve their well being.
Client confidentiality is paramount to her and she epitomises discretion at the highest possible level. This combined with her professionalism, loyalty and down to earth work ethic has garnered her enormous respect and trust in executive, celebrity and VIP circles internationally.
A session may comprise of all yoga's different aspects, breath work, stretching (both static and moving postures) chakra work, meditation, relaxation and music, so that you can immediately achieve a sense of physical, mental and emotional, balance, clarity and strength. As well as toning, energising and detoxifying the body, boosting the immune system and strengthening the nervous system, sessions will give you clear, calm, and focused thinking for optimum performance in all areas of your life, and enhancement of creativity. You will leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and revitalised, with improved flexibility and core strength.
Meditation can be taught separately or as part of a yoga or breathing session. Each session is designed as time out from the rest of life, focusing the attention inward, away from the mind’s relentless diversions, so as to access the internal tranquillity within us all and experience the profound peace, freedom and bliss that is our true nature!
Special breathing techniques can be taught separately or as part of a yoga or meditation class.
Knowing how to breathe properly is an incredibly important part of our well being and the majority of people breathe incorrectly, this does not allow enough oxygen to the brain, depletes energy and can create undue stress. Simply breathing correctly can instantaneously change one's state and vastly improve the quality of one"s life.
